DECOMMISSIONING SERVICES
Valeng Solutions International provides integrated decommissioning solutions designed to help organisations safely retire, dismantle, remove, and manage obsolete or end-of-life infrastructure. Through engineering expertise, structured project management, and responsible execution, we support the safe transition of facilities from active operation to closure, removal, or redevelopment.
  •
From oil and gas installations to industrial plants, pipelines, processing facilities, and associated infrastructure, our approach prioritises safety, environmental responsibility, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective project delivery.
Decommissioning Planning and Engineering
We develop structured decommissioning plans that define project scope, engineering requirements, execution methods, schedules, resources, and risk controls.
  •
  1. Asset surveys and condition assessments
  2. Decommissioning strategy and feasibility studies
  3. Engineering assessments and method statements
  4. Project scheduling, budgeting, and execution planning

Health, Safety, Environmental and Regulatory Commitment

Decommissioning activities can involve residual hydrocarbons, hazardous substances, confined spaces, heavy lifting, working at height, and environmental risks. Valeng Solutions International recognises the importance of planning these activities around documented risk assessments, competent personnel, appropriate equipment, approved work procedures, and effective emergency arrangements.

Projects will be executed in accordance with applicable Nigerian legislation, relevant environmental and petroleum-sector requirements, client standards, and project-specific approvals.

Depending on the asset and scope, regulatory interfaces may include the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), and relevant environmental authorities.
